NCFCU Announces the 60th Annual Meeting!
The National Capital Federal Credit Union
will be holding its 60th Annual Meeting on
Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Pier 7 Restaurant
at the Channel Inn in Washington, DC at 11:00
a.m.
The agenda will include the election of the
Board of Directors, officer reports, member
concerns/discussion, followed by a luncheon
and door prizes. This year, two positions are up
for re-election, and our candidates are Thomas
Reed and Richard Wieczorek. Any interested
members may submit their resumes to the
Michael McCartney, C/O the Nominating
Committee to our address by April 15, 2009.
Nominations by petition are due by April 30,
2009.
The cost to attend the luncheon meeting is
$15.00 for members and $25 for non-members.

New Shared Service Center Transaction Fee
After much careful thought and
consideration, the Board of Directors of NCFCU
announces that effective March 1, 2009 a
transaction fee of $2.00 per transaction will be
assessed for all financial transactions performed
at the Shared Service Centers. The accumulated
fees will be charged to your account at the end
of each month beginning March 31, 2009. We
are pleased to be able to offer nationwide access
through the Shared Service Center locations,
however, we find it necessary to offset some of
our costs to provide that service. Please note that this fee only applies to Shared ServiceCenter transactions.
Please remember that we offer free home
banking and bill payer services, you can access
your checking account funds with our
ATM/Debit card, and you can always call and
request a withdrawal check to be mailed free of
charge. For mail-in deposits, please sign the
checks, write “For deposit only,” and add your
account number. You can also make deposits
via Direct Deposit or Payroll Deduction through your employer.

Credit Union Visiting Your Office
Credit Union staff and officials have been calling on all Select Employer Groups! NCFCU has renewed its efforts to encourage all potential members to join the Credit Union and take advantage of its many services and benefits. So far, these efforts have included periodic packages of new membership materials being sent to all employer groups, mailings to credit union CEOs and to select employer group representatives (typically the Human Resource Manager), and site visits by Credit Union Management and Officials.
